Dear Residents,

There have been reported incidences of ash from cigarettes when flicked out the window, being blown into the units below. In some instances the ash has still been“live” for a few moments and this could have safety implications if landing on items such as mist netting, curtains etc.

This is a safety hazard as this may cause fire thereby affecting those below.

So, therefore it is strongly requested that smokers please be mindful of others below them and dispose of their cigarette remains correctly and safely.
